Workshop – 16th June

The Future Of Work Is Culture

“I came to see, in my time at IBM, that culture isn’t just one aspect of the game, it is the game. In the end, an organization is nothing more than the collective capacity of its people to create value.” — Louis V. Gerstner, Jr., Former CEO of IBM

We can no longer use culture as a buzzword.

During times of change, be it transformation projects or change programmes, our focus tends to be on the systems and processes that need updating, redesigning or scrapping. We leave people behind, until the last minute and expect them to adapt and be present with us when we hand them their new shiny kit or framework.

But, our expectations are changing faster than our technology. Workplaces are humanising: they are the people we choose to collaborate with, the communities we choose to belong to; and they play an increasing role in creating meaning in our everyday lives. Culture is the way we compete in times of great change and the way we will be resilient in rapidly changing markets. It is how we will attract and retain talent, how we will communicate our purpose, and ultimately, how we can increase ROI.

We cannot achieve authentic culture that delivers measurable outcomes by applying a set of values. Culture binds people together, builds relationships and empowers individuals and teams to do their best work. Culture needs to be consciously designed, not left as a footnote.

This is a practical workshop where you will reflect, understand how to build and grow authentic organisational culture, embed new tools and empower your teams and functions. You will take away how to implement Culture Design for measurable impact that you can implement straight away..
